구형 XF 렌즈의 촛점 구동방식

As all of the lens groups are shifted simultaneously for focusing, coma aberration is minimized, providing supreme lens performance throughout the entire focus range.
The spacing of lens groups does not alter by focusing distance; thus, the “Bokeh” effects are created uniformly in the out-of-focus areas while the sharpness on the in-focus plane is maintained.
By shifting all of lens groups quickly and accurately, through the use of the low inertial DC coreless motor incorporated, the XF lens realizes high responsiveness.
XF35mm F1.4나 XF18mm F2렌즈의 경우 전체 렌즈그룹을 동시에 움직여 촛점을 잡아 렌즈 수차를 잡고 전체 촛점영역에 걸쳐 고성능을 발휘한다고 합니다. (새로운 F2렌즈가 접사에서 선명도가 떨어지는 거는 내부의 일부렌즈만 움직여서 일부 수차가 교정되지 못해서 그런 건지...) 렌즈그룹들 간의 거리가 변하지 않아, 촛점 맞은 곳의 선명도가 유지되면서도 보케효과가 균일하게 만들어진다고 하네요.대신에 촛점을 잡는데 좀 시끄럽고 전체 렌즈군을 움직여야 하니 좀 느리기도 하고...
