President Trump said Thursday it's still "possible" a June 12 meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un takes place, despite telling the leader of the rogue regime the U.S. was pulling out of the summit earlier in the day.
“Hopefully, everything is going to work out well with North Korea. A lot of things can happen, including the fact that perhaps … it's possible that the existing summit could take place or a summit at some later date,” Trump said prior to a bill signing ceremony at the White House. “Nobody should be anxious. The president wrote in an open letter to Kim on Thursday that he had decided to cancel the June 12 meeting in Singapore due to the “tremendous anger and open hostility” displayed by Pyongyang.
